Less than one year after the Lovelle brand was bought out by Newton Fallowell and incorporated into the Belvoir Group, franchisees have benefitted from increased investment, resulting in new branding, a new website and enhanced levels of customer service. Staff are so impressed with the changes that three team members from Lovelle’s former corporate sales offices have now made the transition from employee to franchisee and bought offices in Skegness, Hessle and Grimsby.

Sophie Witter, who is the new franchisee in Hessle, used to work in the Lovelle Hessle office until moving to Essex.  She has now moved back into the area, and just eight weeks after being offered a job at her former place of employment, leapt at the opportunity to take on the business as a franchisee.

“After working within a Lovelle branch until 2018 it’s always been a brand that was very close to my heart,” says Sophie.  “When the opportunity arose to become a franchisee, it seemed like a natural step forward to take and I’m very excited to see where the future takes us.”

Belvoir CEO Dorian Gonsalves says: “This is a very positive story for Lovelle, and it is always incredibly worthwhile when former staff members decide to buy into a business that they are already working in. I wish all of the new Lovelle franchisees every success as they continue to operate these businesses, whilst developing a stake in their own future.

“Belvoir is actively looking for further opportunities to acquire reputable regional estate agencies where there may be managers who are considering owning and operating their own business.”
